  • Itinerary:

    Day 1: Palanga – Klaipeda (ca. 30 Km)
    Arrival in Palanga. Pick-up your car, drive to Klaipeda. Visit the small charming old town with its Theatre Square dominated by the statue of a girl Ann from Tharau, narrow alleyways with attractive courtyards and art galleries. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Klaipeda.

    Day 2: Klaipeda - Curonian Spit (ca. 50 Km)
    After the breakfast, travel to Nida. En route visit the Hill of Witches, exhibiting wooden sculptures based on Lithuanian legends and folk tales.  Nida is a small quiet fishermen village, famous for its majestic sand dunes, some up to 60 meters high. You can also visit there the famous German writer Thomas Mann's House, neo-gothic church, old ethnographic cemetery and a private Amber Gallery. Overnight stay at the Hotel or Guesthouse in Nida.

    Day 3-4: Curonian Spit
    Spend the time at your leisure. Explore Curonian Spit or just relax at the Baltic Sea beach or Curonian Lagoon.  Overnight stay at the Hotel or Guesthouse in Nida.

    Day 5: Curonian Spit - Klaipeda – Kaunas (approx. 280 Km)
    There is a faster way to go to Kaunas on the highway, but we would suggest you to take the Route of Castles along the Nemunas River. This route lies along the right bank of the river Nemunas, the longest river in Lithuania. You will be astonished by the rich array of castles and mounds situated on the route and by the stunning panoramas opening up from them. In addition, the legends surrounding all these sites will add to the incredible experience. Arrival in Kaunas - the City of Green Hills and Medieval Churches. Places of interest: Town Hall Square, Church of the Holy Trinity, The House of Perkūnas, Kaunas Castle, The Church of Vytautas, Žaliakalnis Funicular and many more. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Kaunas. 

    Day 6: Kaunas – Trakai - Vilnius (approx. 110 Km)
    After breakfast, drive to Trakai. Trakai was the former medieval capital in the 14th century. The central monument is the Gothic castle, built on the island of Lake “Galve”. Restored in the mid-twentieth century, this red brick castle is unique in Eastern Europe. Continue to Vilnius. Check in and Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Vilnius.

    Day 7: Vilnius
    Explore Vilnius at your leisure. Vilnius is a baroque capital of Eastern Europe, founded in the 13th century. Sights, worth visiting:  the old town (World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1994), the University, Bernardine Monastery, the current large Gothic church with Baroque and Renaissance elements, the church of St. Anne, the Cathedral, which separates the old town from the new town, Gediminas hill, which offers breath-taking views of the city, the church of St. Peter and St. Paul and much more. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Vilnius.

    Day 8: Vilnius – Sigulda (approx. 410 Km)
    After breakfast, travel to the Gauja National Park. Visit the beautiful town of Sigulda, Latvia’s winter capital, known locally as the Switzerland of Latvia. Here, visit the Turaida Museum Reserve including the 13th century German Knights’ Castle and Gutmanis Cave, the deepest cave in the Baltics, located on the Gauja riverbank. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Sigulda.

    Day 9: Sigulda – Tartu (approx. 200 Km)
    After breakfast, depart to Tartu. Spend the time at your leisure. Tartu is a university town and a city of youth! The time-honoured university, museum-rich and Hanseatic city of Tartu lies on the banks of the River Emajõgi. The capital of southern Estonia is the second largest city in the country and the oldest in the Baltic States. Tartu is a modern city with a rich historical heritage and culture. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Tartu.

    Day 10: Tartu –Lahemaa National Park (approx. 200 Km)
    An impressive tour on the "Onion route" with the Russian Old Believers Heritage. Drive to Kolkja where you will have a possibility to visit Old Believers Museum, take a coffee break at the traditional local "Kolkja Fish & Onion Restaurant". Travel further and visit amazing castle Alatskivi. Visit Kallaste, its amazing bluff and interesting cemetery, drive through old small villages Ranna and Mustvee along the Peipus Lake. Travel further to Lahemaa National Park. Check in and overnight stay at the manor house in Lahemaa National Park.

    Day 11: Lahemaa National Park – Tallinn (approx. 100 Km)
    Lahemaa is the largest national park in Estonia, with unspoiled landscapes and beautiful views of the Baltic coast and forests. Visit a romantic captains' village of Käsmu, extraordinary bog landscape with many lakes, explore the Palmse and Sagadi Manors, which have both been beautifully restored to give you an insight into upper-class 18th-century life in Estonia. It is a great way to enjoy some of the beautiful scenery this country has to offer. Continue to Tallinn. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Tallinn.

    Day 12: Tallinn
    After breakfast self-exploration of the town. Take a walk through the beautifully walled-in Old Town. Here you will find lots of worth seeing sights, such as Town Hall, Lower Town and Upper Town, Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the Olympic Village. Little further of the old town worth visiting is the Song Festival Grounds and the Kadriorg Palace (Catherine Palace). There is also possibility to visit Helsinki via ferry at the same day or to prolong the journey and take a day tour to Helsinki. Overnight at the 3* hotel in Tallinn.

    Day 13: Tallinn - Haapsalu – Virtsu – Saaremaa (approx. 260 Km)
    Travel to Haapsalu is a major seaside resort famous for its range of spa hotels and fine beach. The old town is popular too and Haapsalu Castle, haunted by a white lady, hosts many events including various music festivals. Travel further to Virtsu for the Ferry to Saarema.  Arrival in Saaremaa - the largest island with an intact and well-restored medieval castle in its only city, Kuressaare. Stone fences, thatched roofs, working windmills and homemade beer are signs you have landed on Saaremaa. Overnight stay at the 3* hotel in Kuressaare.

    Day 14: Saaremaa
    Spend the day at your leisure. Sights to see in Saaremaa: The Old town of Kuressaare, Kuressaare Castle, the Massilinn Order Castle, the medieval fortified churches of Muhu, Valjala and Püha, Windmills at Angla, Kaali Meteorite craters, Panga Cliff and many more. Overnight stay at the 3* hotel in Kuressaare.

    Day 15: Saaremaa – Parnu – Riga (approx. 340 Km)
    After the breakfast, depart to Riga. En route, visit the busiest seaside resort Parnu, famous for its mineral mud baths. Discover the city: the Red Tower, the oldest building in Parnu, which originally served as a corner tower with a medieval wall, the Old town Hall, white and yellow classical building, built in 1788, Baroque Lutheran Church of St. Elizabeth and the Orthodox Church of St. Catherine. After exploring Pärnu, continue to Riga. Overnight stay at the 3* hotel in Riga.

    Day 16: Riga
    Riga is an old hanseatic city, founded in 1201. Discover the old town, which has 150 historic buildings, scattered throughout a maze of streets, unchanged since the thirteenth century. Old Riga is a protected area with narrow, winding, well restored and interspersed cafes and restaurant areas. Many buildings of Art Nouveau are the hallmark of the city of Riga. Overnight stay at the 3* hotel in Riga.

    Day 17: Riga– Rundale – Hill of Crosses - Palanga (approx. 310 Km)
    After the breakfast, depart to Palanga. En route, visit Rundale Palace - former residence of the Duke of Courland and one of the most amazing Baroque Palaces in Baltic States. Continue to the Hill of Crosses - an atmospheric place of pilgrimage. Arrival in Palanga. Check in and overnight stay at the 3* hotel in Palanga.

    Day 18: Palanga
    Explore Lithuania's prime sea resort – Palanga. Visit the Amber Museum, take a walk in the Botanical Park of Palanga with Birute's Hill - a 22-meter high dune, or stroll along the central street full of souvenir shops, open-air cafes leading to the beach and the pier.

    Day 19: Palanga
    Spend the morning at leisure. Drive to the Palanga Airport. Return the rental car. Departure.
