  • Itinerary offer:

    Day 1: Palanga - Klaipeda (approx. 30 Km)
    Arrival in Palanga airport. Pick up your rental car and travel further to Klaipeda. Here you will have to go to the ferry terminal. Crossing by the ferry to the peninsula Curonian Spit. Continue your journey to Nida, where you will check-in in the hotel for overnight stay.
                                
    Day 2: Guided tour to the Curonian Spit
    Meeting with an English-speaking local guide at the Hotel. You will take a walking tour of Nida and visit the High dune, the old part of the village, the Protestant Fishers Church, the old cemetery and the Thomas Mann house. Hike on the Dead Dune near the fisher’s village of Pervalka. The tour goes on to the village Juodkrante. Here you will visit the mythical hill of witches with its wooden sculptures, the cormorant colony and the legendary Amber Bay. After the tour travel back to Nida. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
                                
    Day 3: Boat trip to the Memel Delta
    It is possible to participate in a boat trip to the picturesque Memel delta. On the waterway, you can observe the unique birdlife and very rare aquatic plants. In the village of Minge you can enjoy a rustic picnic with curonian fish soup. Return by boat to Nida. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 4: Curonian Spit
    Spend the time at your leisure, explore the Curonian Spit and relax on the Baltic beach. We will give you some tips about entertainment possibilities. Overnight stay at the hotel or guesthouse in Nida.
                                
    Day 5: Curonian Spit - Kaunas (approx. 280 Km)
    Travel to Kaunas. There is a faster way to go to Kaunas on the highway, but we would suggest you to take the Route of Castles along the river. This route lies along the right bank of the river Nemunas, the longest river in Lithuania. You will be astonished by the rich array of castles and mounds situated on the route and by the stunning panoramas opening up from them. Arrival in Kaunas - the City of Green Hills and Medieval Churches. Places of interest: Town Hall Square, Church of the Holy Trinity, Kaunas Castle, The Church of Vytautas, Žaliakalnis Funicular and many more. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Kaunas.
                                
    Day 6:  Kaunas - Trakai - Vilnius (approx. 110 Km)
    After breakfast, drive to Trakai. Trakai was the former medieval capital in the 14th century. The central monument is the Gothic castle, built on the island of Lake “Galve”. Restored in the mid-twentieth century, this red brick castle is unique in Eastern Europe. Continue to Vilnius. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Vilnius.
     
    Day 7: Vilnius
    Explore Vilnius at your leisure. Vilnius is a baroque capital of Eastern Europe, founded in the 13th century. Sights, worth visiting: the old town (World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1994), the University, Bernardine Monastery, the current large Gothic church with Baroque and Renaissance elements, the church of St. Anne, the Cathedral, which separates the old town from the new town, Gediminas hill, which offers breath-taking views of the city, the church of St. Peter and St. Paul and much more. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Vilnius.
                                
    Day 8: Vilnius - Moletai ( approx. 80 Km)
    Drive to Moletai, where you can visit the National History Museum, the St. Peter and Paul Church. Continue to explore its surroundings: the Glass Museum in Balninkai, the Fishing Museum in Mindūnai, Castle Hill in Dubingiai, Augustine monastery in Videniškiai and astronomical observatory in the village Kulionys, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view from the telescope or watch stars at night. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Moletai.
                                
    Day 9: Moletai - Anyksciai - Siauliai – Palanga (approx. 330 Km)
    Drive from Moletai through Anyksciai, Panevezys and near Siauliai stop at the Hill of Crosses (place of pilgrimage). Drive to Palanga. It is popular seaside resort in Lithuania, famous for its beautiful wooden houses, bridge into the sea, the oldest pharmacy in Lithuania and the largest Amber Museum in Europe. Overnight stay at the 3* Hotel in Palanga.
                                
    Day 10: Palanga
    Spend the morning at leisure. Drive to the Palanga Airport. Return the rental car. Departure.
